I do believe, however, that listening to another speak adds an entirely new dimension to the person in question. I keep asking myself, did Abraham Lincoln really speak in that high voice everyone says he did? More coming as I record and add items.

I am altogether too inspired by the Jonathan Carroll blog, and I recommend you look at it regularly. If I remember, this was inspired by a collusion of two poems he posted next to each other: a piece by Pablo Neruda and one by Jacques Prevert. I actually got a lot of mileage from the Prevert piece...


The Daring Adventures of Me and You (2011)
I wrote this in March 2011, inspired by the title of Mark Morford's incomparable The Daring Spectacle and a few stories told to me by one of my friends. There's a healthy dose of fiction in here, too, but I can just see my friend driving through the French countryside at 204 miles an hour in a new hat and a Savile Row suit...
